NehaXStitch Muni Diaries 2026 Application

I organize fundraiser embroidery classes, and I’d love to explore the possibility of hosting a drop-in embroidery activity at the Muni Diaries Art Market! My idea is to have attendees create their own embroidered transit card badge reels, with 100% of proceeds donated to a transit-focused nonprofit, such as San Francisco Transit Riders.

I’ve hosted large-scale embroidery workshops in San Francisco in partnership with Market Street Arts, accommodating up to 100 participants at a time. I provide illustrated instructions and pre-organized supplies so participants can work at their own pace, making the activity easy to facilitate in a drop-in format. I walk each participant through the basics when they arrive and provide guidance on finishing their project, with participants able to check in for help along the way.

If selected for this event, I envision a booth where attendees could drop in, pay approximately $10–$15 to participate, and spend ~30 minutes creating their badge reel. Ideally, there would be seating available either at the venue or nearby, so participants could comfortably work on their projects while remaining close enough to return with questions or pick up additional supplies.

Below are a few examples of my previous badge reel projects for reference. I’d love to chat more if this sounds like a good fit for your event, or explore opportunities to participate in a future event if the timing or format isn’t quite right. Thank you so much for your consideration!

P.S. Here’s proof #1 and here’s proof #2 that I’m also a certified transit girlie
